SUMMARY:
Ummat International Hospital (UIH) is seeking experienced and compassionate Nurses to join its growing Nursing Services Department. Successful candidates will provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care and may be assigned to ICU/Neurocritical Care, Emergency Department, Operating Theatre, or other clinical departments based on qualifications, experience, competencies, preferences, and hospital requirements.
Description
- ICU Nurse: Monitor critically ill patients, including vital signs, oxygen saturation, ECG, and other clinical indicators.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, antibiotics, and other treatments according to physician instructions and hospital protocols.
- Provide nursing care for patients receiving ventilator support and monitor respiratory status and oxygen therapy.
- Assist with the care and monitoring of central lines, urinary catheters, NG tubes, and other clinical devices.
- Participate in CPR and other emergency life-saving interventions.
- Monitor and accurately document fluid balance, intake and output.
- Prepare, implement, and document nursing care plans and maintain accurate nursing records.
- Follow infection prevention, aseptic technique, patient safety, professional ethics, and ICU protocols.
- Emergency Nurse: Perform initial patient assessment and triage according to hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, level of consciousness, and changes in patient condition.
- Administer emergency medications, IV fluids, injections, and other treatments as directed.
- Assist with CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), airway management, oxygen therapy, wound care, and emergency procedures.
- Collect laboratory samples and ensure their proper transfer to the relevant department.
- Monitor the availability and readiness of emergency medicines, equipment, emergency trolley, and resuscitation equipment.
- Ensure safe patient transfers and maintain accurate nursing documentation.
- OT Nurse / Operating Theatre Nurse: Prepare patients and required documentation before surgery.
- Verify patient identity, procedure, surgical site, and other safety requirements.
- Prepare surgical instruments, instrument sets, supplies, and the operating theatre.
- Follow sterile field and aseptic technique requirements.
- Support the surgical team as a Scrub Nurse and/or Circulating Nurse.
- Assist with instrument, gauze, needle, and other surgical material counts.
- Monitor patient safety and vital signs within the scope of nursing responsibilities.
- Assist with specimen labeling, documentation, and safe transfer.
- Support post-operative patient transfer and care.
- Follow sterilization, infection prevention, waste management, patient safety, confidentiality, and professional ethics requirements.
- Maintain accurate nursing records and report equipment or supply shortages and operational concerns.
Requirements
ICU Nurse:
- Nursing qualification from a recognized educational institution.
- Valid professional nursing license.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Direct ICU experience is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of ventilators, patient monitors, CPR, and other ICU equipment.
- Ability to work shifts and night shifts.
- Accuracy, responsibility, and strong teamwork skills.
Emergency Nurse:
- Nursing qualification from a recognized educational institution.
- Valid professional nursing license.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Direct Emergency Department experience is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of triage, CPR/BLS, and emergency procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work shifts and night shifts.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
OT Nurse:
- Nursing qualification from a recognized educational institution.
- Valid professional nursing license.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Direct Operating Theatre experience is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of Scrub Nurse and Circulating Nurse responsibilities.
- Good knowledge of sterilization, aseptic technique, and infection prevention.
- Practical familiarity with surgical instruments and instrument sets.
- Ability to work shifts and night shifts.
- Accuracy, responsibility, and ability to work effectively with a surgical team.
